Air Conditioner light flashes

Good day all, I've got a 2003 limited V8 with about 100K miles on it.

The issue I have is that the A/C light flashes (blinks) on and off more and more frequently. I had the A/C system charged at the stealership, but it didn't correct the problem for long.

If I push the button off and on, repeatedly it will eventually "catch", and the A/C will work.

Any ideas on the source of this problem? Bad contact, low pressure?...
