Stay away from oiled filters such as K&N, almost every oiled filter I have ever seen fouls up the MAF and/or the owners don't oil them (which is part of how they filter, so you might as well not run filter if you're not gonna oil them.)
Don't get anything that doesn't mount up like the stock airbox, i.e. if it doesn't suck air in from the inner fender like the stock factory air box; you're wasting your time. This is because the air intake on all Toyota trucks & SUVs is already a Cold Air Intake.
A dry filter like an AFE would be a good choice, something that drops in the stock location would probably be the cheapest route to go.
