The mod bug has gotten to me and I am trying to figure out the changes I want to make. Can some explain to me the difference between a pretty good air filter (such as K&N) and an air intake? I know that the intake should give me better performance from cold air, but isn't the air temp under the hood the same as it would be for the air filter? Also being that I want to change the filter or intake is there really a big difference by chaining the exhaust system? Thank you for the advice.
