Air Lift 1000 - any long-term reviews

Probably going to order a kit in the next day or so.

So, I wanted to check here and see if anyone had a longer(er) term review of these bags. All my searching looks like folks have been happy with them.

Also, wanted to make sure there wasn't a new/better solution that I haven't discovered.

I use for towing my car to the track - ~4-5,000 lbs with everything including me, tools, etc.

I run the Airlit 1000 air bags inside my rear OME coils. I installed them to help when towing my King Kamper off road camping trailer which is about 2500lbs fully loaded.

I have had them installed for few months now and have towed with them ofroad on two camping trips as well as daily driver use. No problems so far and they really help compensate for the extra weight on the rear when towing. :bigok:

Nothing bad to say about them here.
I ran into an initial issue with a slow leak at the plastic tee fitting that came with the kit. Swapped it for a brass fitting and no problem since.
I usually run at just slight pressure (5-10 psi) to keep them inflated. Pump it up when I go to tow. Biggest mistake is I forget to deflate them after towing. The harsh ride instantly reminds me of this so all is good after I deflate them.

I had one bag with a defective & leaky brass ferral, which they sent a replacement bag, no questions asked.

However, I keep springing small leaks in the lines where they connect to the bags. I've been under the 4Runner three times trying to figure out where the leaks are.
