Air lift suspension

I have seen and read the discussions regarding the possibility of adding air leveling for the rear suspension (ie optional on limited with XREAS), but I have not seen a discussion on whether or not you can add a four wheel air lift susp. My thoughts are this will be incompatable with the XREAS, and may be incompatable period, but I thought I would through it out there. I was thinking of something similar to the system on the VW Taureg. Maybe this is just a pipe dream, but it would be nice to have some increased lift on command, while being able to lower it during day to day driving. Let me know what you all think.:dunno:

My Rover had this, and it was very useful. This should be compatable (not the Toyota one, you'd have to get aftermarket parts) with the XREAS system, as its just the same as installing any lift kit. I would imagine the max you could go up is about 3.5 - 4" but you should be able to put it back down for normal driving. You could also add load leveling into the system, which is cool too. From what I understand, the airsprings just replace the normal springs in the system, and the shocks are left untouched.

Thanks Vortec, sounds like it will work. Now all I have to do is find a good kit. How nice would it be to get the OEM switches that the limited has for load leveling and have them control the lift in the entire truck, not just the rear leveling.
