Air safe hitch

Do anybody here use a air safe hitch or any air hitch system?

I'm looking for a 20ft camper to pull with my 2016 trail. 2800-3000lbs dry weight.
A whole month road trip is in our plan.
I want it to be comfortable and safe.

I looked at the videos and it is an impressive system. I would look at the class III hitch instead of the class IV. The 4runner really isn't rated for class IV loads.

Are you going to use the distribution hitch with it? Do you have a break controller? If so, which one?

I am considering towing about the same wieght, and have been looking at solutions as well.

The class III doesn't have the attachment for a weight distribution system.

Not the same. Some people pull trailers for a profession. They know what works best.

From my perspective, using that device means two suspensions fighting each other. Your choice though. Good luck.

I pull heavy stuff often.

No way would I use that. But....

I also wouldn't tow a 20' TT with a 4Runner either so you might ignore this. :hatsoff:

Never seen a setup like that. I'll have to look into them. I definitely did not buy my 4Runner with the intentions of pulling. Just sold a 3/4 ton diesel 4x4 truck for my 4Runner since we dont have much to pull anymore. We used to have a 28' toyhauler. I'd just worry about something in the 20' length behind the 4Runner in some wind, wouldnt be fun and I think the tranny would just be getting its guts ran out
