Airlift 1000 and 2wd?

Ok guys i'm new to my 4 runner and wanted to get airbags for my 2003 limited V8 2wd and airlift site says it only sells kits for the 4wd? What's the difference? Will the 4wd bags work in my 2wd? I plan on lifting the rig but will need and extra boost to haul two dirtbikes on my hitch. I've done a search but i didn't see anyone do this with a 2wd?

ive had the airlift 1000 on a few vec.s, the last being my 06 4r, i dont know if they changed the design recently but imo, salt here in the east rusts the cheap air hose clamps & causes leaks, the air line also goes in from the bottom & can snag things off road. i now have the firestone's with no problems & to me the over all quality is better, thicker air lines with push connectors that install from the top. again just my opinion but take a look. 2003 TOYOTA 4RUNNER Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Spring Kits 4135 - SummitRacing.com also, if you have the cash, maybe take a look at these- http://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/Toyota/4Runner/2003/TTORSEQ.html?vehicleid=20031014359
