Seriously man, every time I check out your thread I get the itch to buy a welder. If, when I finally get around to learning, my welds look half as good as yours do I will consider myself lucky.

Haha thanks! It is the best tool I have ever bought, I enjoy using it. I still have trouble with some joints and positions, but I'm really happy I can make some nice welds.

Hell, I'm not gonna make it now. It started raining 30 min. before quitting time today and hasn't really let up. It's supposed to rain all weekend. Damn I wish I had a garage :redbrick:. I bought and installed my GF's new water heater so I'm off the chore hook for a little while.

I got my steering stops welded up yesterday

And then picked up a new toy, 20 ton press. Hopefully this will swap the trunnion pins in my steering arms to the new six shooter arms

Maybe we can go out to Uwharrie next weekend?

I'm planning on ordering the TC spindle gussets soon. Maybe sometime over the fall/ winter we can weld them up. :cheers:

I will want to test it out next weekend or the following, I'll let you know dude.

And I should have time to weld those up later in November, just let me know and bring a 24 pack of yuengling.

I got my 20 ton shop press assembled, and broke it on the first press lol. Jack was spewing oil. That's harbor freight for yah.

Exchanged the jack and finished pressing out the trunnion bearing pins. I'll swap the eliminator pins in tomorrow, if this jack holds up.

Two weeks of rain halted progress, it was miserable. Everything is painted and almost ready for assembly.

And check out the light bar, I modified some Chevy Silverado mounts, they were $26 on Amazon with nice hardware.
