Alarm acting up...

This happened twice yesterday evening and again at about 2AM this morning.

Here's what happened. Locked the doors with the keyfob and went inside the house. A few hours later, my alarm went off. Figured I bumped the panic button. I used the unlock button on the keyfob to disarm,

A few minutes after this first episode, it happens again. I disarmed using the keyfob again, and disconnected the battery for a few minutes. Reconnected battery, locked with keyfob again.

Another few hours later, the alarm goes off again (at 2AM in a quiet residential neighborhood). I pulled the battery again and left it disconnected.

I hooked up the battery again and drove to work this morning. It hasn't happened again since the 2AM episode, but the battery has only been connected for about an hour.

Any suggestions or thoughts? This is really annoying...

Oh, and it's a 2007 limited v8.

Thanks.

nothing? update - it hasn't happened yet today...maybe keeping the battery disconnected for 5 hours did the trick?

some of the electronics in a car will take longer than others to reset. It's possible that a capacitor held a charge for the few minutes you disconnected it and didn't when it was off for 5 hours. Just a thought.
