I have an appointment with the senior tech at my dealer Friday to address the infamous harmonic vibration at 70-75mph. I hope to clear all of this up soon.

The chirp/beep is not dealt with in the 4th gen manual. It says "see the dealer" to make changes. They've haven't a clue at this point. It's not a big deal, I just don't like alerting the neighbors every time I get home late or leave early.

The clunk is definitely the rear hatch. Hopefully the recommendations you made will shed some light for the tech.

Although it might be inconvenient, I use the key to lock/unlock the doors with the keyhole when I don't want the car to chirp. Just a thought...

Bought at Jack Taylor, Alexandria. No service experience to speak of yet, but I would highly recommed the dealer after the purchasing experience. Big dealer, big city slick, but a personal service ethic that is old school.

Kewl. We're probably neighbors of some sort. I bought mine from Lustine Toyota down in Woodbridge. Well, just to comment on your vibration thread I have the V6 so maybe that's why I haven't heard/felt anything yet.
