Alarm Haywire

Hi guys,

I want to turn off my alarm but dont know how. What I mean is I want to deactivate it altogether because everytime I use my key to open th e doors it still activates the alarm and the lights in the panel blink and it's annoying. I have an alarm key that has 3 little buttons on top and a main button. I somehow got it to turn off permanently a few months ago but now it's on again. Any ideas? I have a 1996
