Alarm Not Honking Horn

My alarm no longer honks the horn if tripped. The lights on the vehicle still flash, but no sound, so the alarm is not very effective.
It does not honk when locking or unlocking the car anymore either. Hitting the Panic Button on the key fob still honks the horn.

My automatic door lock on the drivers door has been broken for a while now, and I usually do not bother locking it manually, so the fact that the alarm no longer works is really pain.

Because the horn obviously still works separate from the alarm, and the alarm still arms and disarms and flashes the lights when tripped like normal, I am thinking there must be a way to reset the alarm system.

Does anyone have any information that can help me out?

No one knows how to reprogram the factory alarm? or why it would not be making any noise?
It wouldn't be such a big deal if my drivers door lock wasn't broken, but now with a broken lock and no alarm I feel like I am asking for trouble.

On mine, you need to start the procedure with the LED push button out (aka "off" position).

1. Turn the iginition key to the on then off position.

2. Within 10 seconds, cycle the LED push button on then off 3 times (i.e., press and release 6 times).

3. If the horn would not beep, then you should hear 1 chirp that it's been turned on. If the horn would beep, then you should hear 2 chirps that it's been turned off.
