I joined this forum in hoping I could get some help!
I finally replaced the stock stereo from my dad's 1995 4runner with an aftermarket HU. After I installed it I realized that the alarm stop working. My remote won't lock the doors anymore. I'm guessing the alarm was intertwined with the stereo?
The alarm system we have requires a special key to be inserted into a slot before turning on the truck with the ignition key. I don't know if this alarm system was common for other 4runners?
