Have a great (and safe) trip Alaskaman. Enjoy the trip and take heart in knowing that that are many 4Runner brothers here on a "virtual" version of your trip.

Keep the pics coming!

Excellent pics alaskaman. They're from your D70?

Have a fun, safe and smooth trip to Alaska.

Portland

Only big news today was that I joined Costco and got gas $2.27 per gallon in Eugene. Overcast day.......Bellingham and the Ferry tomorrow. Won't have internet connection until Haines as I have been told no wifi on the ship. Guess I will just pull back on the throttle, have a strong adult beverage put my feet up and watch the whales go by. Land Haines Alaska 1300 hours Nov. 3 ~~!

Will take some pics of "Beast meets Ferry" They may have an issue with my soft Thule bag as it adds height.

:biggrin2:

Arrived Haines Alaska (pics)

Got in about 1030 today. The Alaska Marine Highway System connects remote communities not accessible by road. In Haines, streets are mostly paved and (clears throat) fair to pothole in town. We are getting quite dirty. Scorpions doing well lowered to 32 psi. Not a real test so far. These are some incredible vistas hope you enjoy. Will post some of the beast shortly.

First Pic is Wrangell Alaska
