Alignment after spacer lift

Is it pretty much required to get an alignment after adding a spacer lift? I realize it's the smart thing to do but is it one of those things that if you don't you could seriously mess something up?

i believe your tires will just wear unevenly, obviously if u have a huge lift, then u will probably also have other problems.

I havent done an alignment yet since doing a 2 inch front lift and i think everyting is fine, but i will get an alignment in a few weeks with my next oil change.

My main point was that i'll have the lift installed in a couple of weeks and will be home in about 6 weeks and will be doing some scheduled maintenance, is there any problem waiting to do it then?

I think you will be fine. I installed my cornfed lift last November. Might have been longer than that. Still haven't got a alignment yet and my tires are fine.

Same here. Installed mine in November as well and did not get an alignment because I cant find a shop to do it with the 22's. Dealer does not have an attachment to fit them. I have been watching my tire wear and I cant see any unusual wear. Will probably just leave it unless my tire shop tells me otherwise.

That is fine, you have to wait at least 500 miles probably anyways because you probably need to re-torque all the bolts. I wouldn't get the alignment until you have re-torqued all the bolts and are finished with everything involving the installation.
