On Friday I hit a couple potholes in a row on the passenger side in my 09 T4R, going 25-30mph. It's lifted about 3" with Icon coil overs, shocks, and rear lift springs. It also has Camburg uniball UCAs and 33" MT/Rs. The impact messed up my alignment, causing the car to pull pretty hard to the right. The camber on the right front wheel was noticeably different than the left, and the the wheel was also visibly toed out. I got it aligned at the dealership on Saturday, and it drove fine Saturday and Sunday on the highway. On Monday, I changed lanes going about 65mph, and then the car started pulling to the left. The steering started to feel really loose, so I went back home. When I pulled into the driveway I heard some severe tire rub, and upon inspection the driver side front tire was making contact with the back of the wheel well, which I've never had a problem with before. I took it back into the dealership this morning, and they told me that when they aligned it the first time they couldn't get the numbers in spec, so they had to basically over-compensate with the caster on the left side to counter the caster on the right side. When I had the car aligned right after the lift and UCA installation a different shop had no trouble getting the numbers correct to factory specifications. What could have been damaged when I hit the potholes to cause the dealership to not be able to get the numbers in spec? Visually, nothing appears damaged.
