Alignment report and question

I installed 5100s at 1.75 with 1"rear spacers last week and got an alignment today. Here are before and after #s. It took them 2 hours and I am not so confident in their work. The rep siad to go to toyota and buy some bolt that can extend the adjustment range to increase camber...

Long story short the truck pulls to the right and this was not at all noticeable before. All the numbers seem to have moved in the right direction. Any ideas?

Find a new shop. And get your money back.

In all seriousness. It doesn't look like they did much other then adjust your toe. I had issues with the first place I took mine to for an alignment. Then I found a shop that knew what I wanted and set it up perfect. I would call around and find a place that deals with lifted Toyota's often.

They sent you out with +3.4* caster on one side, and -.7* on the other?!
That's completely ridiculous, and they are 100% incompetent if they're sending you out the door with those kind of specs.
Definitely find a competent alignment shop, and have them fix it.
You want them to max out the caster, without going positive on the camber.

WOW... These people are beyond clueless.

Go get your money back and find a shop that knows how to do an alignment on a Toyota.... There are no bolts needed... That is just a BS line. They only adjusted toe (tie rods) and did not understand how the cam bolts are the lower control arms work or simply just did not want to get it right. I'm 95% sure that alignment machines tells them how to adjust... Sad how lazy people are.

Don't laugh I go to a Firestone to have my alignment done , but in the back lot where the employees park there are 2 Lexus GXs and a number of Tacos parked there. They know how work on Toyota trucks. This is one way to find a place that will do the job correctly.

I had a similar experience with a tire shop. Ended up at the dealer, who actually knew what they were doing.

I went to a small town one man mechanic shop to get mine done (only one that would fit me in that day). I was a little weary just because it's such a small shop, but by damn he got it right. He said he got caster to 4.15 on both sides and that my toe was off a solid degree. Night and day difference before and after and he only charged me $50! Rides like factory now.
One thing that did inspire some confidence is that he had two very nice drag cars (clearly his own) on the lot. He was very experienced.

That sounds like a good ol boy shop right there. Sadly, those are few and far between these days. None exist around me anymore.

Yeah I agree. Sad. Because they are the ones that really take pride in what they do, and have years and years of real world experience actually racing etc. luckily I live in a pretty remote area so things like firestone and the big places haven't made it this way. Within about 30 minutes there are about 10 of these family owned or "one man band" shops.

Here said the bolt is usually used to replace stuck bolts but are also longer, I don't buy it. Got my money back yesterday and going to the 4x4 shop next week. I'll post their specs after

I have my 4Runner worked on by an independent Jeep shop, but the guy who wrenches on mine is a 4Runner owner.

One thing that helps drastically is to talk to them about the job upfront, I walked out on one place as the gentleman clearly had no idea how to do the alignment, better then then after you get a sheet back like the OP.

Ended up at a firestone - I told the guy info from this thread more or less and he said no problem. I'm extremely happy with the 5100s now.
