All I want for Xmas

Hello again, I will be working in Colorado next summer, and in preparation for the 4 wheel drive roads I am asking for a suspension lift for xmas. I don't know exactly what I want though. I know I want about a 3" lift, and I don't want to go with spacers. I believe that this limits my options. I don't want cheap components, but I don't want high end components either. The vehicle is primarily a road vehicle but does occasionally go off-road and also tows a 26' sailboat. Any suggestions? Also, I am limited to about 3

OME 3" coil lift kit, I heard is pretty stiff compared to stock but is great for towing. IMO you need to add weight (bullbar, sliders, steel rear bumper, etc.) for these to ride nice. But others feel its better than stock. To each his own. The 2.5" lift might ride better for a stock 4runner than the 3" OME lift.

3" is also known to be the point where you have issues with the stock CVs since the angle is a bit much and you need a diff drop kit too at 3".

I'd stick with 2.5" if you drive the truck around alot on the street.
