All in one key

Since I couldn't find one, I made one. Haha. Looks funny, but its lighter and less chunky in my pocket. I used the chip from a transponder key i got on ebay, and the key part is from an all in one key i got that didn't work.

Interesting... The new 2012 Camrys come with an update All-In-One Fob that I am getting rather attached to myself. But this doesn't look all that bad either.

Very nice! There is also an all in one switchblade key available on eBay. I had one that worked well but it was stolen :(

Pretty cool! I wish I could find a way to make the FJ Cruiser all in one key work for the T4R, or swap our remote components into one. It's my favorite over all. The OEM one used on most of the other Toyota's is too bulky in my opinion. Especially if you compare it to the one Honda has been using for the last 8ish years.

BlackWorksInc, I'm curious to see what the new Camry all in one key looks like.

That's a great mod :hatsoff: :bravo:

My only concern that it's too long... Wonder how durable it is and if it will survive against your knee? :biggrin2:

As promised, here is what a 2012 Toyota Camry Key looks like:

I like it, its more streamlined than the old Land Cruiser/Lexus square Key and old triangular style key.

2004 4RUNNER all in one key

I have succesfully programmed the all in one key TOYOTA part number 89070-60B61 to my 2004 4RUNNER. The part number is sold in the US as a the replacement for UZJ100 Land Cruisers (04/2006 and later), and FJ Cruisers (07/2007 thru 08/2009).

I did the RKE portion myself with the commonly available instructions.

There is no "cheat method" for the immobilzer key on this year. You will have to go to the dealer for them to use their techstream device.

I copied this from my previous posting regarding this same topic

Search on ebay using the fccid # on the back of your current remote. The code on the mykeyless listing on ebay will say 044 033 this is for the 4 button remote for our trucks---044 without the 033 is a 3 button---that's the only difference---I saved the $13 from $72.95 to $60 between the 2 listings because I used the internals from my original yota remote and just put the keyless fob board from my original in this casing.

Mykeyless uses the same originals in their remotes---the only difference is whether you need the rear trunk/window button. I could have made a tab to work in the internals of the mykeyless remote to make the panic button work but decided I didn't really care about it so I just put the original in it and that's it.

If you don't have the original or want to keep it original and not open it up and swap it for the mykeyless 3 button one then just spend the $72.95 and get their 4 button. My dealer was really impressed by it and wished he could sell them. He cut the key and walked out with me to see me program it and start the truck and was blown away that it worked. I'm not sure if a transponder is inside but it has worked for a couple months and never stalled or had an issue or shown a VSC or check engine light on mine even one time.

EDIT: I just checked ebay and they seem to have gone up a bit. I would keep checking for a few days. I bought mine 2 months ago for $60 with free shipping and the 4 button internal one was $72.95 with free shipping. LOL---We must have talked about it too much on here. My keyless on ebay is a reseller for ikeyless.com It's $99 on there and is the exact same remote.

Hey Matt, I wanted to get a switchblade key but I thought they were really big in size. Is that true or do they just look big in the photos?
