All Pro UCA's rubbing.

Scramble

New member
I installed these last night & UCA is rubbing on the shock mount. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm hoping when I bring it down off the lift on the weight of the tires it will come out a little. Other wise it looks like I'll have to do some grinding.

I had to grind a little off my strut mount cup when we installed my total chaos arms. You will have to also.

AllPro might want to fix their shizzle!
Pee Poor QA AP!
Pee Poor!
Especially for that kinda of coin.

I'll even take it up a notch.
ToyTecs Diff drops.
And the tech give me a around about answer.

My ADD is now resting on the cross member of the frame and they say, "ay, not a thing." And the block don't sit flush on a the bolt housings. There are nubs that stick out of the frame and, "ay, not a thing?!?!?!?!?!"

REally, I'm not a rocket scientist, but I know BS when I see it, and I pay GOOD EFFING MONEY AND MY SAFETY IS ON THE LINE, for "Ay, not a thing."

Bullshit!

It's pretty common with most UCAs to do a little grinding. I'm good with my TC's.

Thanks, I shouldn't have to grind off too much. I just never came across anyone having this problem when I was doing my research here.

No it's really not. I have never had this issue and have installed many uca's and been around lots of trucks with them. If they were manufactured correctly you wouldn't have to do any grinding.

OP pic is kinda hard to see (at least on my iPhone), are you sure everything is installed correctly? I would call All Pro, they're a fairly reputable company and should have some input. I don't foresee them shipping anything that needs to be ground down.

Yeah, it is.

Ugh. Some people just don't give up. I'm not talking about All Pro. I'm talking about Total Chaos, which I am running. I wouldn't expect All Pro to put that in their instructions as that's not their style. OP. Just take the 5 minutes to grind the bucket, spray some paint on it and drive on. There is nothing wrong with your UCAs or your install.

But the OP is talking about All Pro. Let's stay on subject. :)

OP call All Pro before you hack your sh!t up. Even if they tell you to grind it you get the answer from the horses mouth verse what some random guys on the internet say.
