I know folks around here might tend republican, but these are the lands that we want to camp, hunt, fish, and rock crawl in. What are your thoughts?

That's fake news. The article itself says, "The new rule, authored by GOP Rep. Robert Bishop of Utah, Chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, codifies that any legislation to dispose of federal land and natural resources would have a net sum zero cost to taxpayers"

This merely means that any such legislation must not cost taxpayers anything. It is NOT the same as saying the land or buildings will be sold or valued at zero dollars.
