alpine head unit/steering wheel audio

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if I bought an Alpine headunit if it would work with the steering wheel audio controls? Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Not by itself. You would have to buy a device like a PAC SWIX Remote Radio Controller. It cost around $ 60. But I am not sure if you gain access to both the channel & volume controls or if you have to pick just one of these functions. Some people here have installed them. Maybe they can address your question better
