Hi- I had Circuit City put in those exact speakers and they did a great job. Here is the lowdown though, they sound much better than the original speakers (make sure you keep the stock tweeters). However, the system still needs some work. I have been on these boards for some time investigating this, and many have changed their head units to the Scion. I was ready to do this, but can't as the Scion does not have a cassette deck, and I need to listen to cassettes in my car for work. So, I am looking into other options. For now, with the Alpines, I am getting okay sound by putting the treble to the max, and the bass to the minimum, and the fader to F3 or F4 to pretty much minimize the effect of the rear speakers which put out a poor muffled, low, bassy sound. Lastly, someone wrote on the boards here that they had an amp installed that had a variable crossover, and ran all 4 speakers through the front outputs only, not using the rear ouput of the radio, and this improves the sound???
