alternative to KDSS

I've got a 2010 TE but without KDSS. Is there any viable aftermarket alternative?

Not to my knowledge. You can upgrade the suspension with heavier duty coils/shocks up front which will limit the amount of lean in corners on road then remove the front swaybar to help off road articulation. I took off my swaybar in my 08' Tacoma after installing Coilovers. Handled decent on road and great off road.

It's hard to create Swaybar disconnects for these suspensions since the CV axle boot is right under the swaybar mount.

I know folks have been putting FJ springs on 4th gen T4R for a while and getting a little lift and stiffer ride. Has anyone done that with a 5th yet?

I'm 1/2 done. I did the rear coils/shocks from a 2010 FJ TT (Trail Team). Got about 5/8-3/4" of lift, think the coils are a little stiffer than stock 5th gen, and the shocks (Bilstein HD) seem way better. Going to do the front this weekend, I think. Will report back (I have another thread going).

KEWL! How much did they cost you and where'd you get 'em?

I got them from someone on fjcruiserforums.com for $250 shipped. You may be able to find them cheaper, but these were off a 2010 FJ Trail Team (ie - nice Bilstein shocks) and came off the vehicle after only 6k miles and look almost brand new.
