My alternator went out and the battery light never came on. I jump started someone the other day and my alternator fried. Again, the battery light never came on. I replaced the alternator and the new one was faulty. Again, no light. WTF?! it comes on sometimes when I start it and sometimes it doesn't And why the hell don't these things come with volt and oil pressure gauges. At least the freaking light could warn me instead of me keep getting stuck on the side of the road with a dead battery so I can't even use flashers.
