Alternator died - Pep Boys Pro Start anyone?

Battery light kicked on. 12v output while car is running. Anyone have any experience with Pep Boys Pro Start alternators?

Looks like I can pick one up for $100...

Thats a good price. I looked online and the ProStart for a V8 was $173. Did not see the warranty on it. I prefer O'Reilly as tgey are $160 with lifetime warranty. Napa is also a good choice, but not sure about warranty. I always try to get items like that with a lifetime warranty.

I paid $125 for mine at O'reilly with a lifetime warranty. It was like a $30 core charge. Haven't had an issue with mine.
