Alternator questions?

So I think stock is 60 or 70 amps.
Best place to buy new one?
Is 110 or 120 amp alternator to much?
And with winch, offroad lights, amp for subs, what would be best?

If you're gonna have all that mentioned accessories in your truck, best go with a dual battery set up..Alot of guys opt for the Optima deep cycle battery when going this route.

OK, so I have been wanting to get a little more juice for the add ons for my rig.
Would the bigger output Alt be the best way to go? Or the dual battery set up?
I have HID lights and some IPF lights now.
I want to add a 800watt inverter and some more lights, so any thoughts?

Dual battery if you are going to be running your stuff with the engine off, otherwise a higher output alternator with a good quality single battery is all you need. You can go the route Elton did with the GM alternator or there are companies out there that can rebuild factory alternator to put out 140-160. Even with a dual battery system you are still going to want a better alternator down the road.
