Alternator size

How many amp alternator do we have on the 2005's? Is there a HO alternator available for the 2003-2005's?

i dotn know how many amps it is but one thing in car audio that is looked over is the guage of the wire of the altenator. if you upgrade that it will help a lot.
putting bigger altenators in is waste of time especially if its an 05.

I agree somewhat but when you pushing the kinda wattage I have you need a bigger alternator.. I always upgrade my wiring to 1/0gauge.

I believe the system has a main 140A fuse/breaker.

another bump. Does any know the size/amperage of the stock alternator on a V8?

I just replaced mine with a rebuilt. It was labeled 130A
