I was wondering if I needed to get a special dash if I put an altimeter/ inclometer in my truck. Or if i could just use the dash i already have.

Hey 1986 - my '87 came with the gauges already installed, but I believe that the dash is the same. Just screw the L-brackets on the inclometer into the dash, and run the wiring. If you can find the original wiring diagram, it will probably even show you the factory location to run it to. Best of luck!
