Am I hitting the unlock button too fast?

I've noticed a few times in the past few weeks that when I double click the unlock button on the key fob that the driver's door is not unlocking, but the rest of the doors are unlocking. I can then hit the unlock button again (a number of times) and it still does not unlock. But then if I push the lock button on the fob, locking all the doors, it will then unlock the driver's door when I next click the unlock button on the fob.

I'm not sure if this is the actuator slowly and intermittently dying, or if it is some other issue? Anyone else have this happen and know what caused it?

Next time it happens, rather than relocking with the fob I plan to try unlocking with the interior door lock switch and see if that unlocks it.

Congrats. Your actuator is going out. If still under warranty fix it NOW.

mine did this once and so far has never happened again

i really hope i don't end up one of the people on their 5th or 6th regulator

I agree that the actuator could be going out

agreed - pretty straightforward fix - will take about 90 minutes to replace the little $5 motor deep inside the actuator mechanism. My truck is 4 years old and I did the driver's and passenger doors a couple of months ago
