I have a 2007 4Runner with 450,000km.
The key FOB does not lock the car doors. When I press the lock button, nothing happens. When I press the unlock button, the car unlocks the doors, beeps twice and the amber light flashes twice.
Thinking it’s a FOB battery issue, I replaced with a fresh battery, and the problem is still there. I tried using a second spare FOB, same problem.
So, it seems like the truck is not receiving and/or processing the LOCK signal from both FOBs. But it is receiving the UNLOCK signal and unlocking the doors.
Anyone experienced this before?
