Am I the only one with no LED luck?

I've followed the guide on the vast console and instrument cluster LED panel and I can't get any of these LEDs to work. So far, I've tried the hazard light button, glove box and rear window with ZERO luck.

I've butchered two of the LEDs trying to remove them and reverse their polarity.

What gives? Anyone else feel like a loser because they can't get these to work?

I was looking forward to a bit of satisfaction this evening and now all I have is frustration!

Which bulbs exactly are you using?

NEO3-GHP. Voltage 9-14.8 VDC - tried these in the rear window button
74-GHP3 10-16 V - glove box light (tried in both positions)
NEO3-RHP (red) - tried this in hazard light button

That green one should work. I find the 8MM T3 size to be a hard size to duplicate. I got the LP (low powered ones from them and they were a little small, but the HP ones like you got seemed to fit pretty good. Did you butcher them because they were too big? I had to "trim" the little wedge hooks on the sides so they would fit in A dremel tool with a sanding attachment does well in this situation. Also, make sure the 2 little wires that wrap around the base aren't recessed in too far or they wont make good contact with the copper traces. If they are, a pick or the point of small knife can "pry" them up a bit.

On the #74's similar to the T3s, make sure the little wires aren't off to the side and not making contact in the socket. Also, and I have to say this, make sure you turn at least your parking lights on to light the glove box up. Also, I've taken some wire and hooked it to 12VDC and touched both contacts on the bulbs (both directions) to see if they work.

Lastly, I've never replaced the bulb in the hazard button. The only 2 I've done are the 2 T3s for the rear window switch, rear defrost, and the ECT. To get to one of those you really need to "pop" the back cover off where those 2 bulbs reside. The hazard light is enclosed in the switch and I've never heard anyone changing that one.
