no you are not but im not doing that with my runner anytime soon unless absolutely necessary or if the driver is really hot :D

They dump truck would have made it with out the 4runner pulling it. The dump truck was full of logs and probably weighed more then 10 times that 4runner.

I have seen stuck dump trucks on snowy roads where other dump trucks couldn't pull them out. In fact , I saw a dump truck get stuck after hitting a snow drift on my road, He called in another dump truck to get him unstuck. The second dump truck spun its wheels, dug in and then it got stuck. Then they called a third dump truck and it got stuck. They finally had to bring in the Town's 6x6 Oshkosh to pull out each truck one at a time.

If they put a Camry instead of a 4runner, I am sure it still would have drove out of that ditch.

I've seen this one before and I thought it was cool but completely implausible. :iagree: it's like trying to pull out a F-350 with a Samuri, not gonna happen

idk, id say the dump truck was stuck but only needed a little tug or help... i have pulled a tractor trailer up a snow cover hill(about 2") one winter, he had chains, but one broke and then he was stuck at the base of the hill, the sheriff was there closing down the road till a wrecker could come get him, and the rest of the cars. i started pulling cars up the hill one at a time with my 85 toyota 4x4 puckup, and then once i got all the cars up to the top, i went back down for the tractor trailer. he was only single axle and had a small box on him(it was a budwiser truck) that was empty but i hooked up to him and went for it, i pulled him all the way up the hill he also tryed driving out as well... stock 22re(header) open diffs, 33" ProComp ATs, no lockers or anything. now ill be the first to say i could not of just drug him up the hill alone, he had to help, but he was not making it on his own. sometimes all you need is just a little help.

I don't know how you could say the 4runner didn't help at all. It's like saying a human cant help push a car that is stuck, that the car got unstuck by itself.

I pulled my buddies Accord up a bunch of hills most of the way to a cabin in Vermont while in the middle of a 3' snow storm. That was fun.
