Hello. Searched around and didn't find anyone posting on this so here it goes. I have a 2010 SR5. I am interested in adding these automatic retractable running boards. According to the manf. website, they make versions for the Tundra, Tacoma and Sequoia, but not the 4Runner I am wondering if anyone has successfully installed these on a 5th Gen 4Runner, or talked to an offroad shop to find out if it's even possible.

Man - I am looking for these too. My grandmother has trouble getting in and out of our trucks. Thought this might be the answer. I don't have any info but will post if I find some.

now made for 4runner

amp research now makes these for 4runner. they are sold at autoanything.com. im about to buy them, after I get taxes done ;:redbrick:

there is a thread around here in the 5th gen I think were someone has put these on a 4runner.

I suspect you'll also have to remove and replace your rocker panel on the SR5 model with the trail version. Given they were fit to a trail, dont think that was really addressed there, hard to tell for sure.
