AMX Mojave Rims Ordering Nightmares...

I have had a the worst luck trying to get x4 of the:

Maker: American Racing
Model: ATX Mojave Teflon Wheels
Size: 17x8 Boltpattern 6x5.5 (6x139.7)
Offset: 0
Backspacing: 4.5
Hub Bore: 108
Part Number: AX39817883

Not to be alarmist, but I am beginning to suspect some type of voodoo curse against me ever getting these rims.

The long and short of it is that the manufacturer is sold out, and won't have any until late December. So I am wondering if anyone knows any of your local rim shops that actually have them in stock?

Ebay has a kabillion listings but as far as I can tell pretty much everything available on the internet just re-orders from American Racing, so I actually need some in stock somehow, somewhere.

Not every shop does drop shipping. Try to contact some of the bigger shops and see if they have them in stock before you order them.

Yeah, they are all over ebay, but buyer beware! The shipping estimate is 31-35 days.

The reason for this is that none actually exist in north american inventories at the moment, after extensive checking I am confident that is the case. The places that are selling Trends-Auto, Extreme Custom Wheels, etc, them don't actually have those rims, they are just going on an estimate of when they will actually be available from the manufacturer.

Based on calls I have made it looks like it won't be long before they actually do exist in inventories, but at the moment there are none (unless it's a local shop that has them as a display)

I did find a set for sale privately on the FJ cruiser forums but the the shipping the guy wanted drove the price into the realm of making it uneconomical to get them. But hey, it's nice to have options.

Ya some of these guys shipping est are outta line . Had the mojaves on my taco & didn't last to long , IDK why just didn't like like them once I had them on !

Don't know how bad you want the teflon's but 4wheel parts has some nice BlackRocks on sale look just like them just not the Teflon ?
