Thanks to Koz and RL Lemke for their excellent write-ups and the inspiration for this mod. I'll stick to posting what is unique to my install given what is already on this forum.

First, I added the Amsoiler to my dual remote kit.

PICS FOR THESE WERE TERRIBLE. I'VE ADDED SOME AT THE END OF THE THREAD NOW.

I took RL Lemke's suggestion and added an additional bracket that attaches the unit to the top of the bumper frame.

My location was several inches toward the passanger side as I needed more room for the Amsoiler. This had the advantage of allowing me to use the two holes already in the bumper frame for bolting then unit in (see RL Lemke's install).
 
I wired the Amsoiler at the fuse box using an add-a-circuit. I located an ignition source and the unit includes its own relay. I grounded to the main ground terminal.

That is why I love this forum. I wouldn't have tried this without seeing the detailed installs from you and Koz. Your method of using bolts via snaking them through the frame piece was what pushed me over the threshold into doing this. I have no experience with rivets and don't trust them. And, again thanks for the advice about the top bracket -- much needed with the extra weight I have.
 
Tell us a little about the pre-oiler. Do you have to manually switch it on and off? How much noise does it make? What oil are you using? And most important, why you felt the need for it? I considered it but felt it was not necessary for the 4.7, because of its overall longevity record without one and the cost.

I located mine (by-pass) in the center because it could not be seen there from the front of the vehicle.

It's hard to see your install because you were too close and the pictures are too big. If you geta chance please take a pic that shows more of the install location and size it better for the post. I'm really interested in your install.

The pre-charger works automatically. It comes with a relay and you simply provide it an ignition power source (on when ignition is on). There is no noise. However, I am using the idiot signal ( it comes with a device that makes a beep sound that lasts until the system is charged -- you can disconnect once you feel "trained"). It is interesting, you can definitely hear and feel the difference in the engine at startup vs. without it charging. I'm using the series 2000 0w-30.

The reason I went with it is likely more about me than any true need. I agree with you about the longevity of the engine. I just like the idea of the engine being lubricated before a cold start -- that is the time of greates wear and tear. So, just insurance and a good feeling knowing that I'm giving my engine the best protection.

From the bottom. BTW, I'm using the new Ea full-flow filter. Superior filter, and also important -- it is black and will not show through as easily.

And, finally, from the front. As you can see, I've done the grill mod which does help. You truly cannot see it -- day or night -- and i've looked closely. I think this would be the case even with out the grill screen. I did peel off the label on the by-pass filter and the sticker on the Ea just happens to be facing away. Both of these help. I was worried initially, but am very happy with the result.

Your set-up is probably the absolute BEST engine protection system available. Talk about that sense of security you get with this system. Looks like you took your time on the install and it shows. We need to share all our OA results with each other. I have several filters so it will be at least 50K miles before I will get the new Ea filters. By the way, are the by-pass filters available with the new nana-fiber (Ea) technology or is it just the full flow? If your OA comes back much better with the Ea filter I will probably switch. I wish I would have known about the up-coming change before I bought 4 of the old style.

Again your set-up looks GREAT and I'm looking forward to sharing data with you in the future.

No Ea available for the By-Pass as of yet.

My next task is the change out the diff's and transfer case with the sever gear syn.

I'd be happy to share OA results as this will be my first time to use them. At what mileage are you going to test? And, what mileage are you chaging full-flow and by-pass?
 
Thanks for the info. BTW, just spoke with my AMSOIL sponsor and he told me that they are coming out with an improved By-Pass filter in about 3 months. He said it has been several years in development. So, hope that helps if you're going to replace in the next quarter.
