Angel Eyes...anyone considered these?

Has anyone tried them? They look pretty nice (perhaps more so on a Beemer) but they might be a nice addition if you find the right place for them.

Well, its hard because we don't have projecor headlights. Plus, why would you want to look like a BMW anyway? What about the city light mod? Ive considered it. Espcially now that one of my lenses is half full of mud and needs to be replaced anyway. They are just dim lights that are put in the head light housing that come on with the parking lights. They could be put in the bumper blinkers as well as the head light housings. If you were thinking about the fog lights that do that... thats not really my thing and I'll just close my mouth now.

I took a look at your site and the truck looks great!! Good work. If you wouldn't mind, please point me in the direction of the city lights mod you were talking about. I haven't heard anything about that yet and I'd like to take a look!!

That one was for you Thai, I knew you'd like that.
I haven't seen the city light mod done on a 4runner yet. It was sorta popular when I had a my previous car (a Volvo). I'll let you guys know when I get around to doing the mod myself. It will probably be after thanks giving though. I'll be sure to make a writeup when I do it.

edit: Actually a version of "city lights" have been made on 4runners. It was done by butnut over at yotatech a long time ago. It was the same except they put the bulbs in the blinker housing on the bumper. I don't think there was a write up though.

Ok... found brian and this is what he said:
but yeah, the city lights I first did were el-cheapo 'bayonet' bulbed push in types...just drilled a hole on the side of the turn sig housing, tucked in a rubber grommet, and pushed the bulb/socket in. Looked OK with the amber bulbs, but I wanted white. I used the 194 sockets that came with my clear corners, got matching Piaa 194 hypers and presto. I took a few pics...

I have a pm with him to get the "gorey details" and here is a pic.
