Annoying Squeal Driving Me Crazy!!

Recently, it's been getting warmer here in Southern California and I've been using my A/C more. But a couple days ago, it started to squeal whenever it was on.

I think it is the A/C blower motor because when I turn the A/C compressor off, the squeal is still there.

How should I go about fixing this?? Cause it's only gonna get hotter here in SoCal...

yah i had the same problem with my 92runner. a new belt was all i needed. havent heard a singel squeek.

It's likely either the belt, or the compressor is going bad.

Thanks for the input but even if I turn the compressor off and just run the fan it squeaks. If I turn the fan off, the squeak stops.

The squeak has been kind of on and off the last few days and it wasn't there today. :bigok:

Does that maybe say something about the squeak?
