Switzer Lake was where we camped last year right? Is that the (tentative) plan for this year?

You just reminded me that I need to post up some more details like where we are meeting etc...
We'll camp on the other side of the mountain, but it's close to where we were last year. I did a pre run over the weekend to judge timing and have a little more work to do on the day 1 route, but it's close.

Yeah it's a bummer, right now I got 100 problems.
Dropped you a PM.
The better half and I are both off on the 17th so tentatively planning to head down pretty early on Friday and camp nearish the rally point.
If there's anyone else heading down from Pittsburgh, or also wants to join up Friday night, let me know and we'll figure it out.
Edit: Oh, and if anyone was planning on doing similar and looking at Hawk Recreation Area as a camp spot, I called and confirmed their close date (since it is only listed ambiguously as mid-Dec) as Dec 17th. Shucks.

For some reason I'm not getting notifications from this thread, sorry about the late reply... Yeah man, looks like we might actually get the "winter" part of the trip this time around!
We'll camp where we did last year, it's one of the few spots that easily has enough space for everyone.

Can’t Make It
Well,
I have been looking forward to this trip but unfortunately I had to cancel my leave for this weekend. Due to the COVID spike on my base, I’m now working one-day-on / one-day-off 12 hour days for at least the next three weeks.
Major bummer. I’ll have to get with you guys in the Spring.

Super jealous you guys are getting to enjoy all this snow this weekend. I was listed as tentative but i can't travel out of state currently due to work restrictions. Next year for sure. Please post up pics!
