Part of what we're trying to do here (as part of Outbound Overland) is map tracks local to the mid-Atlantic region and make them freely available to the community so that people can get out and explore. It's gratifying to see that you were already able to make use of the track info for this trip. I appreciate you sending the pic - I'm even more stoked now!

We should hit Davis tomorrow between 1000-1030. If you're still in the area and available, feel free to join us.

Thanks for sharing this trail location! I drove in each end yesterday morning and the fresh snow was beautiful! I turned around when I had to, but you'll have a great time.

I was definitely more focused on the wheeling and didn't get many photos (and they're not swanky DSLR ones either) but they are attached.

I have heard it said here on the forums before about the folks being awesome and a great community, and I gotta say, I got to experience that first hand this weekend. It was an absolute pleasure meeting everyone (and seeing one again). I couldn't have asked for better company on my "maiden" voyage. It was a blast.

Now to get on over to the spring trip thread and sign up for that one (and get my crap together before then)

I'm going to go through what little GoPro footage I have and put something together. Hopefully will have something tomorrow.

The order of business for tonight is:

Thanks for putting this together and for the award. It was worth the drive. I got to go trail riding with beautiful scenery, freeze my ass off camping and hang out with a great group of folks. I also need to learn not to baby some of the climbs and just to "BUMP" it.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone and I hope to see you folks again on another overland trip.

I am enjoying the fact that I can say I have been out with a few people more than once or twice now and looking forward to saying the same for the new ones I have met on this trip!
