so I looked around here and saw various 12v extra add ons and I decided to make my own. Pretty fast and easy. This location worked perfect for a 2007 sr5. make sure you have no wires or anything under where your drilling down. Mine had nothing in the location I drilled. I take no responsibility for any of your actions. try at your own risk

here is the socket as it came new. I bought this from radio shack

I used this drill 1 1/8" was perfect. Drill real slow so not to damage anything

make sure you pull this off before you install it. It gives the plug more room to snap in place.

and the rest is history. The wiring has already been covered by others. either wire it into the other 12v dc or you can pull another separate wire from the battery, which is what I did.

Looks good! My only concern would be something falling in there like a dime and blowing the fuse. I personally just installed one that had a bracket made onto it on it's side at the top pass side wall of my center console with the opening pointed to the back. I pulled out that rectangular plug in your pic and notched a corner off it and ran my wiring through there.

I had the concern that change or garbage would fall
In the cigerett lighter, but I added this for my iPhone
Charger and will never be removing the charger from there
Which mitigates anything falling.
