Another Body Lift Question

I have a 3" lift and 33" tires and even though the tires are not rubbing I would like to get a body lift. My only question is which one do I go with? 1", 2" or 1.5"?

I have a '97 limited and I think if I get the 2" the fender flares will have huge gaps in it, not too mention the front bumper will have a gap in it to. I'm thinking I should play it safe and just get the 1" but then I read on here some members getting the 1.5" body lift. How do the fenders and the front bumper look with that setup?

Also, which 4crawler kit should I go with? A, B, C, etc.

I have an 02 with a 2.5 suspension lift. When deciding on the body lift, which I got from 4crawler, I didn't want too big of a gap between the frame and body on the rear wheel well (although there are gap-guards available to cover that), plus I did not want to do too many other modifications regarding the radiator, steering, tranny linkage, front bumper, etc..., but I felt like 1" was not quite enough, so I went with the 1.5". You will still need the 1.5" spacer for the steering rag-joint, but on the radiator, I simply removed the lower plastic shroud and the fan still clears and turns fine. My front bumper was not an issue as I was going to have a custom made bumper done AFTER doing the body lift. Several people I discussed this with recommended not going over 4" total lift, ...., so if you are already at 3", then the 1" may be enough for you, and would be an easy install. As far was what kit to get, I went with kit "D" + SE 9which is the steering extention).

you can always get brackets made to move the bumpers inline with the rest of the truck. Also, you can get some rubber material to hide the gaps between the frame and body.
 
4crawler sells the brackets for moving the front bumper up with the lift for $15. If you lift the body though, you HAVE to lift the bumper the same amount or it will be at a slight angle towards the tires and will most likely rub.
 
Some say the spines on the steering shaft are long enough for 1", but I wouldn't chance it.

I did my 1" BL a few weeks back, the bumper gap at 1" is almost small enough to not worry about. I have some pics of the gap in my build thread.
 
I'll check out your pics. So just to verify (I'm ready to order) for the 1" BL I need just the steering extension and the front bumper relocation kit?
 
Some '97s need the steering shaft ext. and all '96s. I needed it on my '97 so I would play it safe and just get it.

I'm actually thinking about buying another BL (I sold the other one because I didn't think I needed it). I've been offroading a few times and my tires rub. I've decided to purchase the 1.5" body lift instead of the 1" lift. My question is do I need anything extra for the 1.5" lift? Or just the steering extension and front bumper relocation kit? In other words, both the 1" and 1.5" kits have the same components?
