Just thought I would say "Hi"
Bought myself a 4runner SR5 '97. Got lucky with a good deal but needed some work. Thanks goodness for great friends!!
So far this is my first off road Toyota, I've had a few AE86 Corolla's in the past and my let one was modded as far as I could without it being a full track car(no cage and still had interior). Unfortunately I had to sell it, but am glad I have my runner. Only played a little in some dirt at a local spot here in Richmond, had some fun in the snow while in the Okanagan and quickly found out these trucks are great for drive-in movies and sleeping in when on a long road trip.
I do plan on some light wheeling/off road camping trips so naturally there are mods to be done...mostly cuz it'll look cool not cuz the truck would actually need them :biggrin2:
Now pics;
first thing I did after getting the runner safe
some place up north near Prince Rupert. Was driving back from my road trip and found a path to the river bed. So I drove in...
Me trying the artsy thing
Things to come in the future:
Some plated bumpers
Tires, probably Safari TSR 265/75/16
Rock sliders
Basket for roof rack
More lights
Probably some skid plates
Minor lift kit
Been reading posts here for my research before I bought my 4runner and gotta say I like the vibe!
Thank you!!!
