Another Lift / Daystar / Coil Question

Hey All,

My taxes didn't turn out as good as planned, so I'm prob. stuck doing day-star / Cornfed spacer in the front for now.

I was thinking about a 2" toytec super-flex coil for the rear. The coil or spacer would be adding 2" to the resting length of the XREAS so.... why would a coil be any diff than a 2" puck?

unless your xreas is leaking I would say save your money and do it the right way or the way you really want it later.

Agreed, your prob. correct, just wondering why a 2" puck is acceptable and 2" coil isn't

in the front or rear?
spacers have a slightly different effect on the xreas system front and rear.

Spacer in the front, toyo flex coil in the rear, leave XREAS in place for now. At least that was my thought. Back end sags pretty bad with a trailer on it.

that would work but I wouldn't do it... it doesn't sounds like what you really want anyway in the long run... why sacrifice?... If the sag when towing bothers you, get some springs that are close to factory length (maybe slightly longer) but have a higher spring rate... OEM FJ coils, Moog coils, ome 895e's etc... or just go buy some new 4runner oem/moog coils from rockauto or the dealer, they'll be the same length sure (so they won't increase the factory rake anymore) and they'll sag less.

Yeah, I was trying to buy some FJ rears from a guy here, but he never got back on a final price. Guess I should just save for another 6 months and buy it all right the first time.. Not real great on patience though

Or go with an AirLift 1000 for the towing sag.
