Another lift question...

I am about to pull the trigger on these shocks on ebay, however I want to be absolutely sure I am purchasing the correct shocks. The confusion is brought upon the seller specifically saying that it is NOT for the 3 gen 4runner.
The ad is as follows...

Is your 4Runner lifted? These shocks are for lifted 4runnners. They are the same one I used with my Tundra TRD coils.

Get something for a 4runner or Tacoma. A link to what you're looking at would be helpful as well.

And tons of people run Tundra 5100s so...

Is your 4Runner lifted? These shocks are for lifted 4runnners. They are the same one I used with my Tundra TRD coils.

You can run Tundra 5100s on a stock height 4Runner, lifting it doesn't help you fit a larger shock since your bump stops are still stock height which ultimately limits shock length.

I'm always a little skeptical getting anything lift related from eBay. So much of what you see on there isn't what you think it is.

Oh I didn't realize it was an eBay shock, I would be cautious too then!

Those front 5100 struts, Bilstein part #24-188265 will work perfectly. Tons of folks here use them, including myself.

Exactly! That part number is what's used with Tundra coils (as well as other coil options) to lift the front of a 3rd Gen 4Runner. No link required since you have the Bilstein part #.
