Another Module For Any 4runner To 2004

Why not just go to radio shack and build yourself one! This is lame. What are you supposed to do, place it in your lap and hit the switch when you need instant power. I mean, what does it do? Nice try but don't buy into it. Gives you more power with the flip of a switch, come on!

I mean what is that thing, just a resistor of some sort. And all it has is an on/ off switch with a knob.

I wrote to the guy about a full money back guarentee to see what is what with this thing.

Any idea of how it would "work"

Yeah it works like this: You spend 50 buck plus shipping and the guys who sold it to you laugh all the way to the bank.
I don't understand how it can hook up to your sensors and magically produce power without it having any control over the ECU, fuel, and air. It's hard for header, intake, and exhaust to make those claims, so I don't think a little box is going to do it. Maybe Fred Flintsone pops out of it and gets his feet moving.

LOL, how is it possible that these yo yos have any positive feedback. That is why i am always hesitant on buyin isht off ebay

my guess would be shady at best or just plain bogus. one thing I notice about the picture that make me question is that the label on it looks like it's just stuck on...not to mention that most of the edges are either not centered or have the text cut off...looks like a quicky put together...just my 2 cents...I have always questioned things that promise stuff like this.

actually, I just read the text and saw this:
Why so cheap ?

Our manufacturer is able to produce large quantities. They use the latest technology, state of the art equipment and high quality materials. The molded ABS and Polycarbonate cases are heat and water resistant. All this simply puts our product on top of our competitors at a fraction of the cost.

heh...yeah..."high quality" eh? ;):

A little off topic but, how the hell did you put all that stuff in your stormtrooper. And also how long did it take.

I guess putting in a sterio is small beans to you

I'm glad it is adjustable. That way you can select the most accurate power increase without going overboard.

Let's see, if I was to take on a BMW maybe I would select 15 on the scale...Ferrari? How about 68...

Oh Heck.. Just go for it and leave it at 100 and the switch in "ON"

:D :D :D

That is what i;m saying. I wonder if i pay extra they can put an additional sticker on it that says, bezercker mode or somthing.

but i wouldn't want to blow the head gaskets, or throw a rod, so i am going to keep it at like 50 or so

Just wait till they upgrade to the one with the Turbo Boost button. I've even heard that they are working on one with the Super Pursuit Mode like on Knight Rider. The flaps for the Super Pursuit Mode Braking will come shortly after though.

Yea but will it make that whoooosh sound when i push the button. If not, then this thing is out the window.

But in the mean time, I am just scared to put it all the way to 100%

Now that I think about it we both have the Runflats (Dunlops) and we just might burn them right off the rims if we went over 50 on the scale.

They should put a caution sticker on the dial warning the user of the possibility of burning their tires up at the higher ranges of the scale. Maybe it should say "For Professional Use Only" at 100.

What would happen if your wife was backing out of a parking space and your kid flipped the switch to on? Maybe she'd make a drive-thru out of the A&P.....

...and when she got to the vegetable section and hit the bananas, the VSC would kick in.....

I know, but it's raining here and I'm bored.

NO, i needed this mindless banter. My boss's wife is about to have a kid, and i have so much work that i am going to jump out of the window directly to my left

in short...very carefully! :D Nah, really, I just installed one thing at a time with an eye to the future. The secret is I haven't had time to get everything installed again. Now I've got a 3rd radio to add to my communications gear and am rethinking a few things. The stuff I did wasn't that big a deal and was documented pretty well on here and siennaclub.org...now what rando is doing...that's pretty hard core... here's one of his threads
