Just bought my first 4Runner tonight... 2000 SR5, 3.4 V6, Manual, 164,000 miles.
Very excited. Spent a lot of time on this forum during my shopping. I'm mechanically inclined, and although I don't have "build" plans, I'm sure I'll be tweaking things here and there.
It's a very cool truck, and the manual transmission should be a lot of fun. Extremely well maintained and clean inside and out. Has the "wood" paneling, sunroof, differential lock, and everything works (except the radio antenna, which didn't surprise me based on my research prior to buying).
The forum threads were extremely helpful, and I look forward to lots of great advice from all you seasoned T4R owners.
