Hello all. I just recently picked up my first 4runner. I was a proud owner of an 85 SR5 pick up back in the early 90s and having missed that truck I was lucky enough to find this 85 4runner. I love the 1st gen and this one is all set up for the desert.

Here she is-

Specs include 5.29 gears, aussie lockers front and rear, hi steer, 3 inch downey springs, 1 inch body lift and 35" BFG Muds.

I already started on some stuff. I pulled codes and did a new O2 sensor. I keep getting a #10 code though. The CE light comes on when driving at a constant speed / rpm but goes off when I decel. It does not come on at all in city driving just the freeway. So I will look deeper.

Glad to be here and hope to pick up some good info and share my 4runner experience.

Thanks guys. I already took it out and got it dirty...but then I washed it. Its a 10 or maybe a 20 footer. Looks good from that far away but the closer you get the more it looks like a 26 year old ride. Toyota can lay down some paint. Not bad for a bunch of AZ summers. That is all original. The interior is completely reupholstered though.
