Howdy,

For anyone also on YT this will probably seem pretty familar, seeing as I just joined there today also, with the same intro, lol. Anywho...Im about to buy another 4runner, either 2nd or 3rd Gen. I owned a couple before, a '90, and an '03. Great trucks, but both stayed bone stock. This one...well, Im going the SAS and chopped route. Im sure I will get lots of good tech info here regarding both those plans.

Yeah, its kinda all or nothing this time around. And I finally have another vehicle I can use as a daily driver too, lol.

I've always wanted to go all out on mine.. but just can't seem to bring myself to do it. I like the fact that I can still use it as my daily driver and still haveit hold its own on the trails.

Good luck with the build. I'm sure it will turn out great.

Although I appriciate the nice words...you should know in advance that if this goes anything like any other trucks Ive built...lets just say Murphy has a bad habit of creeping up when I least expect it. But we shall see.

Well, Ive been thinking alot about this, and after being a little more honest about how much I will actually be able to put the 4Runner to its intended use, I think I'm going to stick with IFS. Aside from the huge "bling factor", I dont really think that I need to spend the ungodly amount of money on SAS'ing it. I can probably find better places to use that $$. We will see where I finish up, if that ever happens.

Also, as a side note, thanks a bunch to Scotty of Addicted Offroad. He spent the good portion of an hour talking with me, explaining more than I even thought to ask. I am moving to Ga, so I dont know how much work I will be able to get done by him, but great guy! If you read this, THANKS AGAIN SCOTTY!
