Thought of another one .... my runner seems to have trouble giving me hot air in the cabin ... the guy I bought it from thought it was normal and had cardboard jammed in front of the radiator to help.... is this common? Or maybe my thermostat is busted, running the cooling system the whole time? Heat exchanger? I drove the vehicle for about 100miles sraight and it still wouldn't give me hot air, lukewarm at best! The operating temp. is fine however, right in the middle of the guage

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Thought it might be the thermostat, but you said that the temp gauge reads normal...

Might want to take a look at this thread (you probably already did)

Hopefully, it's not your heater core. Do you smell antifreeze in the cabin? Or do you see any coolant leaks or notice your coolant level going down? Or better yet, is your coolant filled up to the proper level? :D

Well thats not what I wanted to hear .... there's no odour in the cabin and the coolant level is right on ... no leaks that I can see ... the truck seems to heat up very quickly though, not sure if that's due to the displacement or not, my prelude took a llonnnggg time to warm up in the cold, this thing doesn't at all!
